Thanks you very much for the professionalism that you have shown me. It is rare to find someone who handles their clients with the dedication of a company owner as you do and I do not want that to go unappreciated.

Washington, DC, snow truck drivers needed a manual that illustrated the rules for when they removed snow from the roads. They had 20-page laminated sheets that were bound with one ring, but the pages fell apart easily and it was difficult to quickly find needed information. The DDOT wanted something easy to read and understand, waterproof, and tear proof.
LIOBmedia worked with the DDOT to condense the material to 12 pages, using bulleted lists that made the text easier to comprehend and used less space.
Usability was another important consideration. We made the font big and bold so that drivers could easily find the information they needed. We divided the myriad of rules into categories and used colored tabs to denote each group. And we added illustrations to demonstrate how to position the plow blade.
And usability was also a factor in the physical qualities of the book:
LIOBmedia also consulted the drivers to see what information they wanted in the book. As result we added emergency contact numbers, gas and salt dome locations, accident information, and information about roadway conditions.
DDOT officials and drivers alike praised the redesigned snow/ice removal guide. The guide is in high demand and DDOT operators have received less redundant calls, allowing them to focus on other aspects of their jobs.
